While there are a few moments in the movie that can be said to be Moore at his best, the production as a whole may be Moore at his worst.

Although there are numerous problems with "Fifty Shades Freed," the fundamental one is also the most obvious: the lack of a compelling story.

"Gringo" is messy and at times incoherent, filled with pointless subplots and confounding “twists.”

The idiotic ending doesn’t redeem the uneven middle portion. The film's biggest problem is identified by the title.

A regurgitated product, familiar bits and pieces of teen-friendly “scary” stuff that mimics horror in disappointingly superficial ways.

Occupies a curious middle ground between philosophical arthouse movie and Easter-themed faith film.

By failing to embrace the absurdity of the situation, the movie sets itself up as just another summer blockbuster-of-the-week.

It’s supposed to be a screwball comedy but someone forgot to include the laughs.

Targeted at prepubescent girls, the holiday-themed fantasy adventure drowns in CGI, underdeveloped characters, and a plot utterly devoid of energy and excitement.
