Although it’s fair to argue that "The Deer Hunter" contains moments of brilliance, the film as a whole is undone by its length.

Run Time: 1:35
U.S. Release Date: 2018-06-08
MPAA Rating: "PG-13" (Profanity)
Genre: Documentary
Director: Morgan Neville
Cast: Fred Rogers, Joanne Rogers, Francois Scarborough Clemmons, Joe Negri, David Newell, Yo-Yo Ma

Functions as a time machine to take the viewer back to the days of “Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood” while re-introducing the man who functioned as a friend/mentor/father-figure.

Like all B-movies, this one provides moments of visceral satisfaction while ignoring nuance and (at times) logic.

Run Time: 1:15

MPAA Rating: "NR" (Profanity, Sexual Content, Brief Nudity)

As beguiling as it is frustrating, with a fascination for the visual style compensating for a difficult-to-navigate storyline.

MPAA Rating: "PG-13" (Scenes of Peril, Disturbing Images, Brief Nudity)
Genre: Drama/Adventure

An honest, if somewhat neutered, account of what happens in situations like this, and worth seeing if you have an interest in (Wo)man vs. Nature battles.

Run Time: 1:25
U.S. Release Date: 2018-05-25
MPAA Rating: "NR" (Profanity, Sexual Content)
Genre: Drama
Director: Peter Livolsi
Cast: Asa Butterfield, Alex Wolff, Ellen Burstyn, Nick Offerman, Maude Apatow, Michaela Watkins

An emotionally satisfying experience that brings to life a group of appealing characters and allows them to grow and expand in front of the lens.

The prioritization of highlighting moments of "Star Wars" lore over telling a compelling story makes "Solo" feel overlong and anticlimactic.

Run Time: 2:31
U.S. Release Date: -
MPAA Rating: "NR"
Genre: Drama
Director: Cecil B. DeMille
Cast: Charlton Heston, James Stewart, Betty Hutton, Cornel Wilde, Dorothy Lamour, Gloria Grahame, Lawrence Tierney, Bob Carson

Not a bad movie but the passage of time hasn’t been kind to it. The things that made it popular upon its release either don’t apply or don’t work for a 2018 audience.

Its ability to tickle the funny bone and warm the heart allow it to work as a traditional rom-com even if the participants are older than is the norm for the genre.

This clumsy, straightforward caper comedy is neither funny nor clever and leaves no lasting impression beyond the desire to warn people to stay away.
