A tedious, overlong embarrassment that not even Liam Neeson’s craggy countenance can save.

The movie is both important in what it’s saying about freedom and democracy and enjoyable in its presentation of those themes.

U.S. Release Date: 2020-10-13
MPAA Rating: "R" (Violence, Profanity, Sexual Content)
Genre: Horror
Director: Zu Quirke
Cast: Sydney Sweeney, Madison Iseman, Jacques Colimon, Ivan Shaw, Ji Eun Hwang

Although missing opportunities to present a memorable production, this doesn’t demand much from its audience and, in the process, delivers something unsettling.

"Juvenile" is too sophisticated a word to describe this dumber-than-dumb, unfunnier-than-unfunny comedy.

MPAA Rating: "R" (Profanity, Violence, Sexual Content)
Genre: Thriller
Director: Veena Sud
Cast: Peter Sarsgaard, Joey King, Mireille Enos, Cas Anvar, Devery Jacobs

Exemplifies Blumhouse at its worst and it’s not hard to see why this failed Hitchcock wannabe was never released theatrically. Even at the attractive price of “free,” it’s not worth it.

Run Time: 1:36
U.S. Release Date: 1993-07-16
MPAA Rating: "PG" (Walking Corpses)
Genre: Comedy/Horror
Director: Kenny Ortega
Cast: Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy, Omri Katz, Thora Birch, Vinessa Shaw

Like so many films that mix genres, in trying to do too much, "Hocus Pocus" succeeds at very little.

This movie will likely go down as the definitive documentary about Herb Alpert and, as such, it’s not a bad way to be remembered.

As science fiction, it's a little disappointing but as horror, it’s a rousing success – a shocking and disturbing gem.
